As a Sales Development Representative at Workshop Software, your primary responsibility will be to uncover and cultivate new business opportunities by managing a robust, quality pipeline of sales-ready prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to identify potential clients.
  • Focus on phone outreach by making daily and weekly calls to ensure activity objectives are met.
  • Research and identify prospective customers mainly within the automotive sector, including repair shops, dealerships, and fleet management operations.
  • Engage prospects via multiple channels such as cold calls, inbound lead follow-up, and emails to arrange introduction meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Participate in roadshows and trade exhibitions to connect with both new and established customers.
  • Assess clients’ unique requirements and illustrate how Workshop Software’s solutions can enhance their business workflows.
  • Manage and track leads using Hubspot CRM, ensuring prompt follow-up and advancing deals through the sales pipeline.

Candidate Requirements

  • Prior sales experience is preferred, particularly within SaaS or technology fields, but not a mandatory criterion.
  • Comfortable handling high-volume calls and executing multi-channel outreach campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build trust and credibility with clients.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, capable of working independently, and adept at time management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales software, and virtual communication tools such as Ring Central, Hubspot, Zoom, and TeamViewer.
  • Organized, disciplined, coachable, and focused on key performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to quickly identify client challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of the automotive sector or workshop management is advantageous but not required.
  • A client-centric approach prioritizing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Active listening abilities to understand customer issues and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer support teams to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments with evolving client needs and software enhancements.
