Role Overview
We are actively recruiting a Sales Development Representative focused on expanding our reach within the U.S. K-12 education market segment. This position involves collaborating closely with Account Executives, the Marketing team, and Education leadership to generate sales pipeline and identify fresh business possibilities by engaging with school districts, educators, administrators, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new sales prospects in the U.S. K-12 education space.
- Engage prospects through multifaceted outreach such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify leads and arrange meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain and track pipeline activity rigorously using Salesforce CRM.
- Study prospective school districts and educational programs to tailor engagement.
- Coordinate with Marketing on campaign execution and lead responses.
- Assist in pipeline-building events such as webinars and partner initiatives.
- Uphold consistent outreach volume and pipeline management discipline.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Toon Boom’s products, market position, and value offering in education.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, or outbound prospecting, preferably within SaaS.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
- Self-motivated, determined, and target-driven.
- Comfortable conducting outbound outreach and initiating contact with new prospects.
- Strong organizational skills and adept in managing time effectively.
- Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative workplace environment.
- Holds an interest in technology, SaaS, education sectors, media, or creative industries.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or related tools is a plus.
