Job description
Overview
This position involves driving sales progress and owning results rather than just completing tasks. The candidate is expected to proactively follow up persistently on deals, create necessary sales materials, actively disseminate content, and resolve any bottlenecks delaying the sales pipeline. The role broadly covers sales with involvement in marketing and internal activities as needed, offering rapid learning and exposure to diverse tasks to build a career in sales and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Persistently follow up on all deals using multiple channels including email, phone calls, and LinkedIn messages until a response is obtained.
- Assist Account Executives (AEs) on ongoing deals by preparing for calls, sending post-call summaries, confirming subsequent steps, and maintaining CRM data.
- Support Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with prospecting efforts such as list creation, account research, sequence writing, and meeting scheduling.
- Identify and act promptly on deals that show signs of delay or inactivity.
- Create tailored sales materials including pitch decks, follow-up decks, one-pagers, and precise value propositions addressing specific buyers and problems.
- Compile relevant case studies, testimonials, and performance results into usable collateral for sales teams.
- Engage with every inbound and campaign lead to ensure no opportunity is neglected.
- Consistently post content on LinkedIn and other platforms where potential buyers are active.
- Assist in organizing webinars, events, and marketing campaigns from start to finish.
- Produce written content such as emails, posts, and marketing copy — writing is a major part of the role.
- Take ownership of internal projects lacking clear responsibility, including managing trackers, reports, process improvements, and enhancement of partially implemented tools.
- Maintain accurate and organized pipeline data to support effective decision-making.
- Leverage AI tools daily to increase productivity and efficiency, consistent with the company's AI product focus.
Candidate Profile
- Experience range: 0 to 2 years including internships or first jobs; the impact of past work is more important than duration.
- Strong ability to write clearly and simply to communicate with prospects unfamiliar with the company.
- Shows initiative by completing tasks thoroughly and acting swiftly to move processes forward.
- Comfortable with persistent follow-up and resilient in the face of rejection.
- Well organized to manage multiple concurrent tasks without losing track.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Familiar and comfortable using AI tools regularly in daily work.
- Motivated to build a career in sales.
Additional Useful Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Exposure to B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) industry.
- Experience marketing or selling to US-based customers.
- Hands-on use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or outreach software tools.
- Development of sales decks or campaigns that were implemented.
Work Culture and Expectations
This role is not confined to typical 9-to-5 hours; the focus is on achieving outcomes rather than clocking fixed hours. Employees are accountable for results and are assigned accounts and objectives rather than detailed task lists.
