Role Overview

We seek a driven and results-focused Sales Development Representative (SDR) specializing in Software & Services to identify and generate new business opportunities within Factor's expanding portfolio. This role emphasizes high-volume outbound sales including cold calling, prospecting, qualification, and securing meetings with senior executives at enterprise organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make at least 80 outbound calls daily to potential clients.
  • Schedule a minimum of 5 qualified sales meetings each day.
  • Utilize email, LinkedIn, and other channels to support phone prospecting efforts.
  • Effectively present Factor's software and services value proposition to senior decision-makers.
  • Handle objections, uncover pain points, and stimulate interest for further discussions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with relevant stakeholders in target enterprise accounts.
  • Research and identify potential customers and appropriate decision-makers using various sales intelligence tools.
  • Qualify prospects based on business needs, authority, timing, and commercial viability.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to grasp client challenges, priorities, and prospective use cases.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, accounts, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Consistently generate qualified sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Meet weekly and monthly targets related to outreach, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline growth.
  • Schedule discovery meetings, demos, and commercial discussions for account executives and senior sales leaders.
  • Stay informed about relevant technologies and industry trends to enhance prospect conversations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams and marketing for account strategies, campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and prospect feedback with the broader sales team.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in sales development, business development, software sales, SaaS sales, technology sales, or extensive cold calling experience.
  • Consistently meets outbound activity and meeting generation targets.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with a confident, persuasive telephone presence.
  • Ability to engage with senior business and technology decision-makers effectively.
  • Strong skills in discovery and qualification to identify real business needs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with sales intelligence platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Commercially minded with a drive to exceed performance goals.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive independently in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Previous sales experience in software, SaaS, technology, data, research, or professional services is highly valued.
