Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SMB) at Spellbook, you will be pivotal in driving sales growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing new potential clients. You will serve as the initial liaison for prospective clients, presenting our AI legal technology to law firms and related businesses, and ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospects to comprehend their challenges and demonstrate how Spellbook’s AI solution can meet their needs.
- Qualify leads and arrange meetings between interested clients and the sales team.
- Conduct outreach through cold calling, email campaigns, and other communication channels to create new opportunities and rekindle prior contacts.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of interactions and progress within the CRM system (HubSpot).
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing teams to continually enhance outreach methods and messaging.
- Provide regular progress reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to sales leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable navigating dynamic, fast-moving startup environments with a blend of autonomy and teamwork.
- Proactive in transforming ambiguous situations into clear, actionable plans.
- Highly self-motivated and adaptive, capable of analyzing performance and adjusting tactics independently.
- Experienced with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Thrives in a remote and distributed team setting.
