Opportunity Overview
FCM Travel is an expanding global travel management company seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its European sales team. This position involves proactively generating new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with potential clients. It caters to individuals who excel in dynamic and energetic sales environments and aspire to grow their careers in sales. Collaboration with global sales teams and contributing directly to business development are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage decision-makers within targeted ideal customer profile accounts to arrange initial meetings for the sales team.
- Conduct outbound prospecting campaigns and sales sequences utilizing Salesforce and various sales engagement platforms.
- Handle incoming marketing leads and convert them into qualified sales meetings.
- Work jointly with other global Sales Development Representatives to maximize the sales pipeline and adhere to best sales practices.
- Employ tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Highspot, and related marketing technologies to facilitate lead generation and prospecting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Assist with the organization and execution of industry events.
- Promote awareness of FCM's offerings and value through targeted outreach efforts.
- Establish and maintain professional and effective communication to nurture prospect relationships.

Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in inbound or outbound sales with a proven track record of creating qualified sales pipeline opportunities.
- Excellent communication abilities, especially in cold calling and engaging prospects.
- Capability to overcome challenges and maintain motivation to meet targets.
- Curiosity about client challenges and aptitude for tailoring appropriate solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Team-focused attitude, fostering solid relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales engagement software, specifically Salesforce.
- Experience with prospecting and sales tools including LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Highspot is advantageous.
- Travel industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
