Job description
About HealthScreen and the Role
HealthScreen represents the forefront of preventive health and longevity clinics in Australia. We're expanding our ambitious commercial team to address growing demand both from individual clients and corporate partners. This Sales Development Representative role, based in either Sydney or Melbourne, is primarily phone-focused and integral in converting inbound leads and generating new business-to-business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves managing inbound enquiries as the initial point of contact, clearly communicating HealthScreen's programs, pricing, and processes. You will effectively handle objections and guide prospects toward enrollment, maintaining detailed CRM records within HubSpot. The role also includes proactive outbound efforts: researching targeted corporate prospects, performing outreach calls, qualifying leads, scheduling meetings for senior sales members, and sustaining a structured outbound pipeline with monitoring of performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has between 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or phone-centric sales roles. Strong communication skills, objection handling, and a results-driven approach with experience using CRMs—HubSpot being beneficial—are essential. A background in healthcare, professional services, or complex sales is advantageous. Interest in preventive health is a plus, and full Australian work rights are mandatory, as visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a base annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation, with an on-target earnings (OTE) potential of $95,000 to over $110,000 through uncapped commissions. New hires will undergo a structured 30-60-90 day onboarding process, with clear avenues for advancement into senior sales, business development, or account management. You'll work in a premium clinical environment alongside a mission-driven team leading Australia's preventive healthcare transformation, supported by ongoing sales training and development.
Additional Information
This is not a customer service role; the candidate must be proactive in leading sales conversations and encouraging decisions. Candidates must possess full Australian working rights. HealthScreen is committed to equal opportunity employment and values diversity within its workforce.
