Position Overview
SilverCyber, a division of SilverCloud, is seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their expanding cyber security team based in Glasgow. This role involves collaborating closely with the Head of Cyber Solutions and the Head of Marketing to drive new business opportunities across SMEs in Scotland and the UK by engaging prospective clients and scheduling qualified appointments for cyber specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect and engage with small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Scotland and the UK.
- Create business opportunities utilizing outreach methods such as calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify organizational and cybersecurity challenges to engage decision-makers effectively.
- Qualify both incoming and outgoing leads and arrange meetings for cybersecurity experts.
- Coordinate with leadership and marketing teams on campaigns, events, and lead generation strategies.
- Develop a professional network alongside enhancing LinkedIn presence.
- Maintain precise CRM data and records of sales activities.
- Strive to meet set targets for meetings and pipeline generation.

- An existing professional network within SME or broader business sectors.
- Experience related to technology, MSP, IT, or cybersecurity industries.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity challenges faced by SMEs.
Cybersecurity Knowledge
Previous cybersecurity experience is not mandatory; however, knowledge in areas such as Network & Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management, SIEM/SOC services, Vulnerability Management, Risk & Compliance, or common cyber threats like ransomware, phishing, and data breaches, would be an advantage.
