Role Overview
Joining as a Sales Development Representative, you will engage vendor prospects across Canada and the US to grow our vendor client roster by promoting our specialized platform servicing commercial, retail, industrial, and residential property management sectors. Your key objective is to meet weekly sales targets by guiding prospects through the sales process and cultivating lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate sales calls to introduce and educate potential clients about our product offerings.
- Maintain detailed prospect records and activities using Salesforce.
- Develop and nurture relationships with both existing and potential customers.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively to achieve team goals and close deals.
- Adjust sales approaches based on evolving market trends and client feedback.
- Deliver customized solutions and recommendations to meet client needs.
- Represent VendorPM at industry events to broaden our client network.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 1 year in sales, ideally with experience in SaaS, PropTech, commercial real estate, or technology sectors.
- Proven ability to handle high-volume cold calling.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Salesloft or analogous sales engagement platforms for managing client accounts.
- Capability to juggle numerous accounts and concurrent products.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of engaging prospects and building rapport.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
