Job description
Role Overview
This position is a 12-month contractual assignment with a possibility for extension. The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Team by handling administrative sales tasks and coordinating efforts across related departments to optimize field efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate pricing approvals by coordinating between Sales and Pricing Teams.
- Assist Sales with updates on inventory status and material availability for proposal submissions.
- Collaborate with the SE team to verify Bills of Quantities and suggest alternative Material IDs according to supply commitments.
- Ensure timely order placements by distributors and coordinate with CSO to log orders accurately; verify alignment of quotes and purchase orders.
- Work with Legal to secure OEM Authorization and necessary approvals for bids.
- Keep Distributors, Partners, and Sales Managers informed about billing progress on key projects.
- Monitor weekly forecasted sales against actual order bookings, supporting Sales with weekly report preparation.
- Partner with Planners and CSO to facilitate material provisioning as required.
- Manage coordination among logistics, distributors, and partners to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Conduct quarterly assessments of Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sales (POS).
- Respond to inquiries from CSO, Planners, and Plants when needed.
- Document APAC Sales Team meetings and follow up on action items.
- Collect reports and data by liaising with the Sales team for analysis.
- Provide additional sales support such as handling distributor purchase order modifications, managing distributor inquiries related to order execution, and monitoring site warranties.
Candidate Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in a Sales Support role.
- A minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Dynamics 365 or equivalent platforms.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, reporting, and analyzing data.
- Excellent organizational abilities and capability to coordinate projects effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and adhering to tight deadlines.
- A customer-centric approach with dedication to delivering excellent service.
- Self-reliant while able to collaborate well across teams and diverse cultures.
- Fluent in written and spoken English communication.
