About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator based in Dubai Marina, you will undertake general office duties to support sales and marketing efforts. Tasks include filing, emailing, transcribing information, faxing, and photocopying. You will prepare sales-related documentation throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. Promoting brand awareness both internally and externally is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather materials and prepare information packages including brochures and promotional content.
- Apply sales techniques that optimize revenue while maintaining current guest loyalty to Marriott.
- Enter, remove, reconcile, and verify data such as commissions and third-party initiatives using sales-related software.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding facilities, services, schedules, room rates, packages, promotions, entertainment, dining, and special events.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, addressing their questions and requests via phone and email.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company property.
- Welcome all guests per company standards, anticipate and fulfill their service needs, demonstrating genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and verify accurate written documents, and follow proper telephone protocols.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and listen and respond effectively to employee concerns.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Perform manual duties such as moving or lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- License or Certification: None required.
