Job Summary

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their vision care needs. This position establishes LensCrafters as the leading optical destination within the community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals consistently by nurturing current customer relationships and cultivating new ones.
• Use customers' optical prescriptions to suggest suitable lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist customers in selecting frames, coordinating choices with precise optical measurements to provide optimal vision solutions.
• Perform accurate measurements using optical instruments and consult with Opticians when necessary.
• Contribute positively to a supportive store atmosphere by building collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain store appearance by organizing and ensuring displays and inventory are clean and inviting.
• Support an inclusive environment by treating customers and team members with respect and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, computer use, calculators, and basic phone and math skills.
• Adaptability to new technologies and change while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong sales skills, a goal-oriented mindset, and accountability for achieving sales targets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with multitasking ability and flexibility to respond in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from 17.60 to 21.47 per hour, influenced by location, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage standards. Additional benefits may include bonuses, commissions, health care, retirement savings plans, paid time off, vacation, and employee discounts.
