Role Summary
The Sales Associate at LensCrafters embodies the highest standards in eye care and eyewear retail, ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience at every visit. This position supports the company's reputation as the community's top choice for vision solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and company goals by nurturing existing customer relationships and building new connections.
- Interpret optical prescriptions to recommend suitable lenses and lens coatings.
- Guide customers in frame selection, coordinating with optical measurements to provide customized vision solutions.
- Conduct optical measurements using appropriate tools and collaborate with Opticians when necessary.
- Contribute actively to a positive in-store atmosphere, fostering professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain store appearance by keeping displays and inventory neat, organized, and attractive.
- Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and coworkers with respect and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of one year experience in retail or customer service environments.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic phone and arithmetic skills.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changes with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proven sales skills and accountability with motivation to meet sales goals.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Self-driven with capacity to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing situations.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay ranges up to $20.40 per hour, influenced by location, experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional incentives could include bonuses or commissions. Benefits packages may offer healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off, and staff discounts.
