Job Overview

The Sales Associate role is pivotal in setting high standards for quality eye care and eyewear, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience that positions LensCrafters as the go-to vision solutions provider in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales plans and company goals by nurturing relationships with existing customers and attracting new ones.
• Use patients' optical prescriptions to recommend suitable lenses and lens coatings effectively.
• Guide customers in choosing appropriate frames paired with accurate optical measurements to deliver tailored vision solutions.
• Take precise measurements using optical instruments and consult with opticians as required.
• Contribute positively to the store atmosphere by maintaining strong, professional partnerships with colleagues, management, doctors, and supporting staff.
• Maintain store appearance diligently by organizing displays and inventory to keep them clean and appealing.
• Promote an inclusive environment by treating all customers and team members respectfully.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, and performing basic phone and math tasks.
• Demonstrate openness to new technologies and adaptability to change with precision.
• Show proficiency in sales techniques with accountability for achieving targets.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be self-driven, capable of multitasking, and flexible in a dynamic work setting.

Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from 17.95 to 21.47 CAD, influenced by location, experience, and qualifications. Additional earnings may come through bonuses or commissions, complemented by comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, and employee discounts.
