Role Overview

The Sales Associate is pivotal in upholding LensCrafters' reputation by delivering outstanding eye care service and ensuring every patient and customer receives exceptional attention at every visit. This role supports establishing LensCrafters as the community's preferred destination for vision care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals and company targets by nurturing existing client relationships and initiating new ones.
• Interpret optical prescriptions to suggest appropriate lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in selecting frames, aligning choices with technical optical measurements to find the ideal vision solution.
• Measure optical parameters using specialized tools and collaborate with Opticians for consultations as required.
• Contribute positively within the store by building strong, professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain an attractive, clean, and organized store environment and manage display and inventory presentation proactively.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful culture among both customers and team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED certificate is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, with basic telephone and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to adapt to and effectively use new technologies with precision and attention to detail.
• Proven sales abilities with a strong motivation to meet and surpass sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with the capability to multitask and adjust efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate reaches up to 23.62 per hour, depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills. Additional competitive bonuses or commissions may be offered alongside comprehensive benefits including health care, retirement savings, paid time off, and discounts.
