Role Summary

As a Sales Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service and utilize your thorough product knowledge to assist clients effectively. Your responsibilities will span greeting customers, understanding their needs, guiding product selection, handling inventory, and ensuring the store remains organized and compliant with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and create a positive shopping atmosphere with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Identify customer needs through open-ended questions and personalize product recommendations leveraging your in-depth knowledge.
• Stay current on promotions and sales campaigns to inform and enhance the customer experience.
• Efficiently manage transactions using the point-of-sale system along with the Kiokii Loyalty Reward Membership Program.
• Build rapport to encourage repeat patronage and strengthen brand loyalty.
• Handle receiving duties by unloading, unpacking, inspecting inventory promptly for quality and quantity compliance.
• Maintain organized product displays in shelves and storage while adhering to inventory control procedures.
• Perform regular stocktaking and assist with resolving discrepancies and overstock issues.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled, priced, and displayed consistent with store standards.
• Support store opening and daily setup activities.
• Keep the retail environment clean, orderly, and aligned with safety protocols.
• Undertake other assignments as needed to support store operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is desirable.
• A strong passion for the Asian beauty sector, eagerness to learn and share knowledge on products and trends.
• Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and dynamic personality.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to shifting customer and inventory demands.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and cash handling.
• Commitment to following company policies and maintaining workplace safety compliance.
• Capability to perform in a fast-paced, multitasking retail setting.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and reach or bend for items on shelves for extended durations.
• Comfort working with ladders or step stools to access elevated inventory.
• Readiness to work amid retail store conditions including varying noise, lighting, and temperature fluctuations.
