Position Overview

This role involves representing the Forever New brand by enhancing sales performance within the store, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high retail standards. The Sales Associate supports store operations including upkeep and visual merchandising as directed by store management.

Core Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and guide them in selecting suitable products.
• Convert browsers into purchasers through effective selling.
• Encourage repeat business through promotion of the Club Apparel Loyalty Program.
• Provide top-tier customer service following company protocols: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank (GUEST).
• Stay informed about all brands under the group to enhance suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistently.
• Be willing to work extended hours during sales events.
• Keep current on product knowledge and strive to minimize stock losses.
• Arrange stock attractively and according to visual merchandising standards.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and clearance stock policies accurately.
• Manage inventory records for stock movements diligently.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and billing counter proficiently.
• Handle cash management including cash till verification at shift start and end.
• Process payments correctly via multiple modes including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Maintain store security awareness to prevent losses.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as business needs demand.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and loss prevention policies.
• Protect confidentiality of sales data from external disclosure.
