Sales Associate

Position Objective

This role is tasked with representing the brand effectively by boosting store sales through outstanding customer service and overall retail experience. It also includes completing operational responsibilities such as store upkeep and maintaining visual presentation standards under the guidance of the store or assistant store manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them in choosing appropriate products.
• Encourage window shoppers to become buyers.
• Promote the Club AIVI Loyalty Program to enhance repeat customer sales.
• Adhere to the company's sales protocol: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank.
• Stay informed about various brands within the group for effective upselling.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude consistently.
• Be willing to work extended hours during sales peak periods.
• Keep updated product knowledge to minimize stock loss.

Merchandise

• Arrange stock meticulously to attract customers and comply with layout standards.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and uphold stock norms, especially for clearance items.
• Record stock movements accurately and maintain related reports.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) and billing counters efficiently.
• Manage cash register balances at the start and end of shifts.
• Issue correct receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
• Accept varied payment methods including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Remain vigilant regarding store security at all times.
• Adapt to variable shifts and overtime based on business needs.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Keep sales figures confidential and not disclose to external parties.
