Sales Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join the Architectural Coatings division at our Norwich Johnstone’s Decorating Centre on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for a customer-oriented individual eager to be part of a supportive and friendly team. While prior customer-facing experience and IT proficiency are advantageous, comprehensive in-store training will be provided to support your development.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to customers both at the trade counter and throughout the store, ensuring a professional and amicable interaction.
• Complete all training modules required to confidently recommend the most suitable products and effectively represent our brand.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment consistently.
• Adhere to stock control procedures, including receiving deliveries and ensuring shelves are replenished promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in customer service roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong communication abilities coupled with a positive and customer-focused mindset.
• Basic competency with IT systems.
• Flexibility regarding working hours and tasks.
• Possession of a driving license is considered a plus.
