Job description

Role Overview

The HEINEKEN Company is seeking a Sales Analyst based in Port Moresby to deliver comprehensive sales performance analysis, generate insightful data interpretations, and develop and maintain dashboards that support effective operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update monthly sales dashboards for monitoring sell-in and sell-out performance.
  • Compile sell-out data from Sales Execution Management to maintain accurate sell-out tracking.
  • Create and sustain dashboards focusing on distributor sell-in and sell-out metrics for Key Accounts.
  • Conduct analytical work aimed at improving cash collection efficiency.
  • Generate sales data-driven insights and conduct gap analyses to inform strategies.
  • Maintain SKU-level rolling sales forecasts used in demand reviews during Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Assist Distributor and Key Accounts Managers, as well as Route to Consumer and Revenue Margin Growth teams, to optimize distributor networks and sales territories.
  • Provide analytical support for annual customer planning processes to Distributor and Key Accounts Managers.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with direct customers by delivering analysis, standardized templates, and data visualizations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fields is preferred.
  • Between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience including forecasting, sales analytics, demand planning, and reporting, ideally within the FMCG or beverage sectors.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with personnel at various organizational levels and present data clearly.
  • Proficiency in analytics, strategic planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation.
