Role Overview
The Safety Solutions Partner will work directly with existing customers to maximize the value they gain from ecoPortal products. This role combines relationship building, solution selling, and customer training to expand product adoption and foster deeper connections. Key tasks will include assessing client needs, recommending and demonstrating products, managing sales processes, and providing engaging training to ensure customers effectively utilize the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to convert identified opportunities into closed deals.
- Analyze customer requirements to suggest appropriate ecoPortal products and modules.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations connecting platform features to client challenges.
- Handle proposal creation, pricing negotiations, and manage the sales cycle to closure.
- Maintain and advance a sales pipeline aimed at meeting expansion revenue goals.
- Discover new ways to increase ecoPortal adoption within customer organizations.
- Initiate value-driven discussions focusing on customer challenges, objectives, and platform utilization.
- Leverage usage data and insights to guide product recommendations.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders involved in purchasing.
- Communicate complex product and technical details in an accessible manner.
- Design and execute engaging ecoPortal training sessions for both new and current customers.
- Deliver "Train the Trainer" programs targeting customer administrators.
- Support customers in understanding the overall value and impact of ecoPortal solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Services, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure superior customer experiences.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to influence customer experience improvements and product development.
- Collaborate effectively to guarantee smooth execution of expansion initiatives.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS or technology sectors.
- Experience handling the entire sales cycle from lead to close.
- Proven track record in account expansion via upselling or cross-selling.
- Consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Strong skills in product presentations and demonstrations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, capable of engaging clients in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into practical solutions.
- Comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proactive commercial mindset with ownership of sales opportunities.
- Analytical problem-solving and solution identification skills.
Preferred but Not Required
- Background in Health & Safety, Risk, Quality, Environmental, or related software industries.
- Experience selling to enterprise-level clients.
- Familiarity with delivering software training or implementation services.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a technical, business, or related degree.
- Experience handling complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
