Role Synopsis

We seek a seasoned S/4HANA ABAP/Fiori Developer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on proficiency in SAP ABAP and related technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 applications, RAP-based services, and cloud extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and improve SAP S/4HANA ABAP applications.
• Design and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 and Fiori Elements-based interfaces.
• Create and maintain business applications using the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views and OData (including OData V4) services.
• Build cloud extensions and integrations leveraging SAP BTP.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Conduct code reviews, perform testing, debugging, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Participate actively in development, deployment, and production support tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 to 8 years of robust experience in SAP ABAP programming.
• Well-versed in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Strong capabilities in ABAP Objects and object-oriented ABAP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 frameworks.
• Expertise in developing Fiori Elements applications.
• Deep understanding of SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Skilled in CDS Views and annotations development.
• Proficient with OData and OData V4 protocols and services.
• Experience working with SAP BTP platform for extensions and integrations.
• Practiced in creating APIs and integrating S/4HANA with BTP.
• Knowledgeable about BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Interfaces, and report generation.
• Familiar with modern ABAP syntax and techniques for performance tuning.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite services.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Exposure to SAP Build Work Zone and Launchpad.
• Working knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, RAP, or BTP are advantageous.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
