Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time Ruby on Rails Developer located onsite in West Delhi. This position involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications that enhance Healthy18’s e-commerce, warehousing, and supply chain functionalities. Responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end services using Ruby on Rails, integrating front-end elements, handling databases, APIs, and third-party services. The developer will write clean, maintainable, and tested code, conduct code reviews, debug software issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, operations, and marketing to convert business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Integrate and collaborate on front-end components alongside back-end systems.
• Work efficiently with databases, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Debug and resolve application issues to maintain performance and reliability.
• Partner with product, operations, and marketing teams to align solutions with business requirements.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and performance standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and backend web development, including API design and database integration.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and adherence to clean code standards.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture and its application within web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and integration testing tools.
• Working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and version control using Git.
• Excellent collaboration skills and effective technical communication in an onsite team setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, logistics, or SaaS environments is beneficial.
