Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician Level 2 to join our team in Doha. This role is integral to marine, offshore, and industrial service projects, combining expertise in rope access with technical capabilities to carry out inspections, maintenance, installations, and repairs while strictly adhering to IRATA standards, internal protocols, and industry safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rope access work at elevated locations for the purposes of installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to approved safety methods and techniques.
- Use technical and trade skills—including mechanical, electrical, welding, instrumentation, or related disciplines—to assist in installing and maintaining equipment.
- Comply with work instructions, required permits, and procedures to complete tasks precisely, efficiently, and safely.
- Work collaboratively with team members to share technical information and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure the upkeep and correct use of safety equipment and tools, maintain documentation standards, and complete all required safety records and reports.
Qualifications
- Possess technical qualifications such as structured training or vocational education relevant to the field.
- Hold a valid IRATA Level 2 rope access certification.
- Have at least a diploma in a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years’ experience performing similar functions within the oil and gas industry.
