Role Overview
This full-time position based onsite in Doha involves undertaking cleaning and maintenance tasks on building exteriors, windows, and difficult-to-access locations through the use of rope access systems and related equipment. The responsibilities include safely performing work at height, setting up and inspecting rope access gear, executing façade and window cleaning, and reporting any structural or safety concerns noticed during the process.
The operator must adhere to safety protocols, collaborate with supervisors and team members, maintain precise task records, and ensure the proper care of equipment. Participation in regular safety drills and training sessions is also required to comply with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience and capability in working at heights using proper safety techniques.
- Proficiency in rope access methods and use of associated equipment to ensure safe vertical and horizontal movement.
- Skills in cleaning windows and external surfaces of commercial or industrial buildings.
- Basic inspection abilities to spot safety risks, equipment malfunctions, and visible structural problems.
- Valid certifications in rope access (such as IRATA or equivalent) and working at height safety are strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding and commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Physical fitness to support climbing, lifting, and extended work duration at heights.
- Capability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively with teams, and communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or façade maintenance is advantageous.
