About the Role
Join Malmaison as a Room Attendant in Reading, working within the Housekeeping team to maintain guest bedrooms to the highest standards daily. Malmaison offers stylish luxury accommodations across 15 unique UK locations, blending exquisite comfort with fine dining experiences.
This role involves direct guest interaction, so proficiency in conversational English is essential. The position requires independent working ability and a keen eye for detail to ensure all rooms are impeccably clean for guest arrivals and stays.
Work Schedule and Flexibility
You will typically work fixed shifts between 9am and 3pm, five days a week, with start times adjustable between 9am and 10am. If preferred, earlier shifts or weekend-only contracts can be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of guest bedrooms daily adhering to high standards.
- Work independently while being a crucial part of the housekeeping team.
- Interact with guests professionally to meet their expectations for a comfortable stay.
- Adhere to safety protocols when using chemicals and cleaning equipment; full training provided.
Requirements and Experience
- Positive and motivated attitude with a strong desire to contribute to hotel excellence.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of manual housekeeping duties.
- Conversational English proficiency for effective guest communication.
- No prior experience needed; training will be provided.
