About the Role
Acetech Group is actively seeking a competent Robot Programmer specializing in MIG welding robots to join their expanding automation division located in Coimbatore South, Tamil Nadu. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in programming and commissioning industrial robots to contribute to innovative automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program robot paths, teach, and commission robotic systems designed for welding applications.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain various industrial robot platforms including ABB, Yaskawa, CRP, and collaborative robots (Cobots).
- Optimize robot motion paths and cycle times to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage robot-to-PLC communication and configure input/output systems.
- Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and ongoing production support for robotic systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in industrial robot programming with at least three years in the field.
- Practical knowledge and proficiency with ABB, Yaskawa, CRP, and Cobots.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and debugging robotic programs.
- Understanding of robot teaching, commissioning processes, and cycle-time optimization.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for project deployment and customer support.
- Educational qualifications: Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering, or related disciplines.
