Role Summary

Programmed seeks a skilled Ride-On Mower Operator to join our Streetscapes Mowing team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role focuses on maintaining public spaces such as parks, berms, and road verges through passive mowing rather than sports turf maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate commercial ride-on mowers.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general maintenance of grounds.
• Provide assistance with basic garden and grounds tasks as needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, including cleaning and reporting faults.
• Collaborate as part of a supportive team delivering high-quality open space care services.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work, shows dedication to achieving neat results, and is willing to work under various weather conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating commercial ride-on mowers.
• Familiarity with passive turf and open space mowing techniques.
• Possession of a full New Zealand driver's license, with confidence operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Good physical fitness, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude with effective teamwork skills.
