About the Role
As a Rewards Specialist, you will independently oversee vital Compensation & Benefits and People Cost operations, ensuring timely, data-informed, and quality outcomes. You will handle key Rewards cycles coordination, deliver insights and recommendations to HR and business partners, and manage assigned benefit programs from evaluation to ongoing management. The role includes driving process enhancements and offering backup payroll support when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Compensation & Rewards cycles such as merit raises, incentive plans, salary assessments, promotions, and organizational changes.
- Conduct compensation analyses with data-driven advice on salary positioning, internal fairness, market competitiveness, and related decisions.
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders, guiding on Rewards policies, procedures, offers, promotions, and compensation subjects.
- Manage assigned employee benefit programs comprehensively, including assessment, sourcing, rollout, communication, vendor management, and continuous evaluation.
- Evaluate benefits considering employee needs, usage, competitiveness, and cost efficiency, identifying enhancement opportunities.
- Lead or assist in benefit tenders, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and HR.
- Prepare analyses related to compensation, benefits, and People Costs to support decision-making, budgeting, and planning by converting data into insights.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and strong governance of Rewards data, documentation, and reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement in Rewards operations via simplification, standardization, automation, and digitization.
- Serve as a trusted contact for HR, managers, and employees on compensation, benefits, and related Rewards matters, addressing issues and escalating risks if needed.
- Provide designated payroll backup support to guarantee seamless and precise processing of Rewards-related data.
- Share subject matter expertise and support learning within the Rewards team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Human Resources, or related fields.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, People Analytics, or Finance.
- Proven capability to coordinate complex HR/Rewards processes independently, managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of compensation frameworks, salary structures, internal equity, incentives, and benefits.
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and data flows, with ability to provide backup support when necessary.
- Strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and capacity to translate data into actionable recommendations; experience with HRIS and reporting tools is a plus.
- Experience managing benefits, vendor relations, sourcing, or tender processes is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to clearly convey complex information and influence stakeholders positively.
- High sense of ownership, meticulousness, and good judgment, capable of working autonomously and handling multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English is required.
