Revenue Controller

About the Role

A prominent global law firm based in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced Revenue Controller to oversee and manage the revenue operations across its expanding Middle East practice. This role offers the chance to work in a prestigious international environment with strong career growth prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire billing and revenue lifecycle ensuring smooth operations.
• Prepare and review client invoices according to established billing terms.
• Manage work-in-progress (WIP) effectively to ensure timely invoicing.
• Monitor outstanding debts and assist in the collection of overdue invoices.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Fee Earners to deliver consistent revenue updates.
• Assess unbilled time and expenses, pinpointing areas needing intervention.
• Support monthly and annual revenue closing processes.
• Maintain precise financial records while adhering to internal policies.
• Develop strong partnerships with law firm leadership and finance teams.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in revenue control, billing, or equivalent financial roles.
• Background in a law firm or professional services setting is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of WIP management, billing processes, and credit controls.
• Confident in engaging with Partners and senior leadership.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with solid organizational capabilities.
• Proficient with Excel and financial software systems; experience with Elite 3E is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrates a proactive, commercially minded, and problem-solving attitude.
