Retail Window Cleaner

Job Overview

The role involves providing retail window cleaning services for NSS Group, operating primarily during day shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position requires traveling within assigned regions to perform cleaning tasks at various buildings including coffee shops, banks, clothing retailers, and convenience stores. Full training is offered and no prior experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive to multiple sites within your local area to conduct low-level window cleaning using reach and wash systems as well as traditional tools.
• Follow a planned schedule organized by postal codes to maximize efficiency.
• Complete 15 to 20 cleaning jobs per day with paid travel times.
• Work independently on solo rounds, performing low-risk tasks in line with NSS safety policies.
• Occasionally work on weekends as required.
• Adhere strictly to NSS’s Risk Assessments and Method Statements for safety compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Communicate effectively and exhibit attention to detail.
• Function well both independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable using smartphones and basic IT applications.
• Be eligible to work in the UK. Note that a DBS check will be conducted for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• £12.75 per hour standard pay and £13.96 per hour for overtime.
