About the Role
Programmed Facility Management is hiring experienced Retail Utility professionals for full-time FIFO positions based in Western Australia. Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, you'll become an integral part of a supportive village team, delivering exceptional retail and tavern services across multiple sites in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service in retail and tavern environments
- Operate point-of-sale and cash register systems accurately
- Serve customers in both retail and bar settings
- Keep retail areas clean, well-organized, and visually appealing
- Restock shelves, fridges, and product displays
- Receive and store stock properly with correct stock rotation
- Assist in stocktaking and inventory management tasks
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to supervisors
- Support bar operations adhering to responsible service of alcohol (RSA) standards
- Maintain tavern, retail, and communal area cleanliness and presentation
- Follow procedures for cash handling, stock control, safety, and customer service
- Participate cooperatively with the broader village services team
- Provide general assistance within the village as required
Candidate Profile
Successful applicants will possess previous FIFO retail and/or tavern experience, ideally within mining villages or remote sites. You'll be confident with customer interaction, adept at POS operations, and committed to maintaining high service and presentation standards. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification and an Approved Manager qualification are necessary. Candidates must hold a valid C Class driver's license and have long-term Australian working rights. A willingness to work the 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth is essential.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven FIFO retail or tavern experience on site
- Current RSA qualification
- Valid C Class driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol tests
- Clear National Police Check
- Long-term legal right to work in Australia
- Commitment to 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth
