Job Overview

Join Vision Ireland as a Retail Store Manager located in Carrick on Suir. This is a full-time permanent position requiring 37.5 hours per week over five days. Vision Ireland operates over 130 retail outlets nationwide supporting nearly 300,000 individuals experiencing sight loss across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed retail sales targets consistently.
• Maintain appealing visual merchandising aligned with promotions and celebrations.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff, volunteers, and social activation employees to foster a friendly and customer-focused environment.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for business needs and trading periods.
• Maintain quality standards for all merchandise and store appearance.
• Manage donated goods, oversee pricing, presentation, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Handle all accounting duties including banking, cash transactions, and cash management protocols.
• Oversee inventory control and security of equipment and premises.
• Lead support for store and community fundraising activities.
• Promote the Vision Ireland brand locally ensuring branding consistency and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including staff training and safety equipment upkeep.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible with work hours to match business demands.
• Fluent in English.
• Preferably holds a relevant third-level qualification and has experience in fashion retail (desirable).
