Full-Time Merchandiser - Day Shift

About the Role

Join a locally owned and operated store dedicated to providing health, beauty, and convenience services to your community by putting the customer first.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage backroom stock utilizing Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) procedures.
• Operate PDT and MMS systems to complete daily merchandising tasks.
• Manage product exit strategies and returns as directed.
• Maintain expertise in assigned inventory areas, including product placement and expiry date monitoring.
• Ensure store standards related to image and trending are upheld.
• Create product displays that are shopper-friendly and attractive.
• Receive merchandise following established receiving policies and protocols.
• Keep the backroom clean and orderly following organizational principles.
• Complete proper paperwork for goods receipt and returns.
• Assist store management in maintaining product quality and store standards.
• Adhere to uniform and dress code, maintaining a clean and professional image.
• Proactively engage and assist customers within the store aisles.
• Follow all health, safety, and loss prevention regulations and company standards.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong planning, judgement, and decision-making skills.
• Efficient, well-organized, and meticulous in work approach.
• Adaptable to dynamic situations on the sales floor.
• Experience with cash register operations and processing customer orders accurately, when applicable.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and cash handling.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining records.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.

Working Conditions

• Flexible to accommodate shifts that may include nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders as required.
