Position Summary
The Retail Stock Associate role involves active engagement in packaging, wrapping, and loading furniture purchased by customers. Associates are also responsible for organizing furniture within the showroom following instructions from store designers and managers, as well as maintaining overall cleanliness and presentation of the store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle lifting, loading, unloading, and assembling furniture items.
- Support showroom arrangement under guidance from designers and management.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the showroom areas.
- Work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Candidate Requirements
- Capability to lift and manage weights up to 50 pounds repetitively on a daily basis.
- Experience with general cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Previous exposure to furniture handling or janitorial work is advantageous.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly wage ranges between $15 and $16 depending on experience. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours weekly have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additional benefits include:
