About the Role
Rooms To Go is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate specialized in kids furniture to join our Greater McAllen Area showroom. We welcome candidates with direct customer service experience across various roles such as retail, hospitality, real estate, or any client-facing position. Our associates benefit from top-notch training, cutting-edge sales tools, and an industry-leading support system including advertising, financing, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers as they enter the showroom.
- Identify and understand customers' home furnishing needs to help realize their design vision.
- Drive sales using a consultative approach that builds trust and rapport.
- Recommend additional furniture items to complete room designs.
- Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Explain financing options and protection plans to customers.
- Highlight product features and benefits tailored to customer needs.
Requirements
- Motivated, team-oriented individual with a positive and outgoing personality.
- Preferred but not mandatory: minimum 2 years retail sales experience; training provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using modern electronic devices such as tablets and touchscreens.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
Average pay ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, dependent on commission via sales performance.
