Retail Security Officer

About the Role

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a personable, dependable, and customer-oriented Retail Security Officer to join the team at Tesco Immingham, located at Kennedy Way, Washdyke Lane, Immingham, DN40 2AB. This full-time permanent position involves working 40 hours weekly, primarily on a rotating schedule over 5 days within a 7-day week. The role is essential to ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all customers, staff, and visitors while supporting store operations through excellent service delivery.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday to Saturday, 15:00 - 23:00 hours
• Flexibility in shift patterns may be expected to accommodate business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store premises
• Discourage theft, anti-social behavior, and other security incidents from occurring
• Manage incidents calmly and professionally following company guidelines
• Conduct routine patrols inside the store and its adjacent areas
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems where applicable
• Provide high-quality customer service to shoppers and colleagues
• Accurately document incidents and complete necessary reports
• Ensure the store environment remains safe, secure, and inviting at all times
• Collaborate closely with store management and other staff to meet operational needs

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid SIA Licence is mandatory
• Strong communication abilities combined with excellent customer service skills
• Professional yet confident demeanor paired with reliability
• Keen observational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to remain composed under pressure
• Adaptability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous retail security experience is a plus but not a prerequisite
