Overview
We are seeking a Retail Sales Executive who will serve as the primary contact for clients visiting our showroom. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience by engaging customers, achieving sales targets, offering product expertise, and supporting day-to-day showroom operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, assist with product inquiries, understand customer needs, and make tailored recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Consistently meet and surpass sales targets and key performance indicators through effective client engagement.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products, including features, pricing, and after-sales services, enabling informed client consultations and comparative advice.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including payments and product returns, while ensuring the showroom remains orderly and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels, promptly report any discrepancies, and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Address customer concerns promptly, resolve issues to uphold client satisfaction, and foster lasting positive relationships.
- Organize merchandise displays attractively, communicate promotional offers and discounts, and actively participate in in-store events.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish store goals and maintain precise records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Stay aware of market trends, competitor movements, and new product introductions to adapt sales strategies appropriately.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education level of high school diploma or equivalent, such as Nitec or Higher Nitec in a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a dynamic, sales-driven environment such as retail, department stores, or upscale hospitality venues.
- Proven ability to engage customers professionally and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competent at managing multiple duties efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on achieving client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office applications, and POS systems is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, with the latest shift concluding at 8:30 PM.
