About the Role

Kerala Jewellers is inviting applications for the position of Retail Sales Executive at its Chennai branches located in Pondy Bazar, Porur, and Purasaiwalkam. This full-time role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and maintaining strong client relations in a jewellery retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and provide superior assistance throughout the shopping journey.
• Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate jewellery items tailored to their preferences.
• Clearly communicate product details including features, designs, pricing, promotions, and payment alternatives.
• Consistently work toward meeting both personal and team sales goals.
• Develop and sustain robust customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat visits.
• Handle queries, feedback, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with product displays, merchandising, and upkeep of showroom presentation standards.
• Maintain precise documentation of sales transactions and customer data.
• Support inventory control measures and assist in stock verification.
• Keep abreast of current trends, collections, and ongoing promotional campaigns in the jewellery sector.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational background: any degree or diploma preferred.
• Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with prior experience; experience in retail sales, jewellery, or customer service is advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Proficiency in customer handling and negotiation.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude required.
• Basic computer literacy necessary.
• Capable of thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Information

• Fluency in Tamil is mandatory; knowledge of English is a beneficial asset.
