Retail Executive

Position Overview

Work Schedule

• Five working days per week following a roster system
• Weekday shifts from 11am to 8pm
• Saturday hours: 10am to 8pm
• Sunday hours: 10am to 7pm
• Enjoy two weekends off per month as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop operations including store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and storage areas, ensuring all cheese, wine, and related products are displayed and stored attractively and securely
• Assist with in-store promotions, events, and marketing efforts
• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service, recommending cheese, wines, and other products to visitors
• Operate point-of-sale systems, manage payments, and handle daily transactions
• Support order preparation and coordination for collection or delivery, including online and delivery service orders
• Accurately prepare, cut, wrap, and label cheese products
• Monitor stock quantities, expiration dates, product presentation, and storage conditions
• Perform routine inventory counts and contribute to stock replenishment activities
• Receive deliveries and verify them against purchase orders and delivery documents

Candidate Requirements

• An interest or enthusiasm for cheese, wine, and gourmet foods is advantageous
• Fresh candidates are welcome and will receive training
• Completion of a Food Hygiene course is mandatory
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential
• Comfortable operating cash registers/POS and conducting basic inventory management
• Availability to work on weekends and public holidays as per roster
