Job Overview
This permanent retail merchandiser role operates in English and requires a commitment of approximately 6 hours weekly at various retail business locations. The position does not require formal education credentials but values prior experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize merchandise precisely following the planograms.
- Ensure stock quantities are well maintained to meet customer demand.
- Engage suppliers to negotiate costs, discounts, terms of credit, and coordinate delivery arrangements.
- Manage the allocation and distribution of products to retail outlets.
- Provide exceptional service to customers throughout the retail environment.
- Assess the needs of each establishment to decide the appropriate quantity and type of merchandise to acquire.
Required Knowledge & Tools
- Basic computer skills including Internet navigation and Microsoft Outlook usage.
- Must possess personal transportation with a valid driver's license.
- Possession of a cellphone and a computer is expected for task management and communication.
