Job Overview

This role provides critical support to the leasing function by delivering market intelligence, evaluating potential retail expansion sites, and assisting with negotiation approaches. The incumbent contributes significantly to pinpointing the most advantageous locations, interpreting retail market trends, and aiding the growth and strategic positioning of retail brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive analyses of the commercial leasing landscape, emphasizing the retail sector.
• Track market developments, activities of competitors, rental standards, and the performance of various locations.
• Assist in crafting brand expansion plans by spotting lucrative site opportunities and assessing possibilities for market entry.
• Generate detailed market reports, assess feasibility, and evaluate site locations to aid leasing choices.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure leasing tactics are aligned with overarching business goals.
• Engage in lease negotiation processes by supplying insight driven by data to inform commercial terms.
• Keep precise records and databases relating to market information, leasing actions, and relevant performance indicators.
• Create presentations and documentation using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
• Between two and five years’ experience in commercial leasing, retail market analysis, or real estate research.
• A solid grasp of the retail leasing market dynamics and brand growth strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in assisting or taking part in negotiation processes.
