Role Overview
Gregans Castle Hotel in the Burren is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead and elevate one of Ireland's premier dining experiences. The full-time, on-site role based in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, involves overseeing all restaurant operations to ensure warm hospitality, outstanding food quality, and impeccable wine service under the picturesque Burren skies.
Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will direct day-to-day restaurant activities, guide and train staff, maintain high food and beverage standards, and create a welcoming and refined dining atmosphere. Responsibilities include inventory management, staff scheduling, close collaboration with the kitchen team, and continuous commitment to service excellence and hospitality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership experience within prestigious Michelin or Rosette-rated establishments.
- Extensive knowledge of wines, tasked with managing and enhancing the wine list.
- Strong customer service skills, maintaining a customer-centric approach to achieve high satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, hire, and lead teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff alike.
- Experience in fine dining food and beverage operations.
- Well-organized with strong problem-solving capabilities for efficient restaurant management.
- Awareness and implementation of sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
