Restaurant Manager

Overview

This role requires managing daily restaurant functions with a focus on boosting profitability and ensuring smooth operations. Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication.

Education & Experience

• Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certification or diploma program lasting between 3 months and less than 1 year
• Professional experience ranging from 1 year to under 2 years in a relevant managerial or supervisory role

Work Location

This position mandates working on location at the restaurant site; remote work is not permissible.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial budgets to enhance and sustain restaurant profitability
• Assess daily operational functions to ensure efficiency
• Oversee staff performance to maintain service quality
• Coordinate and plan daily operational activities
• Develop and manage staff work schedules
• Supervise team members directly to uphold standards
• Provide training to staff for skill development and consistency
• Organize and keep track of restaurant inventory levels
• Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues professionally
