Role Overview
As the Restaurant Manager, you will collaborate with the management team to strategically lead and elevate Alouette Bistro. This role involves coordinating with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Directors to promote the restaurant, refine menus, organize special events, and introduce new offerings to strengthen Alouette's reputation as a premier dining destination in Vancouver and across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, lead, mentor, and train the restaurant team to achieve excellence.
- Develop strategies in partnership with culinary and F&B leadership for promotions and event execution.
- Maintain the highest Five Star and brand standards consistently.
- Create memorable experiences for guests and staff alike.
- Oversee revenue and expense management for Alouette, including labor costs, productivity, and budget adherence.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum two years of management experience within a Food & Beverage setting.
- Comprehensive product knowledge of wines, liquors, and other beverages.
- Sommelier certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, including budgeting, labor management, and revenue/expense control.
- A service-oriented mindset combined with proven leadership capabilities.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.
- Strong communication and networking skills to share ideas and opportunities effectively.
- Leadership by example, fostering a high-performance team culture.
