About the Role

Neiman Marcus, a prestigious luxury retailer known for its exceptional customer experiences and exclusive offerings, seeks a Restaurant Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness standards within its restaurant. The role ensures that food and beverage service levels meet the high standards expected by the brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish, trash, and floor areas adhering to health and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Monitor and manage dish machine operations including checking and refilling chemicals, understanding usage, and reporting malfunctions to management.
• Keep chemical testing supplies available and correctly use all sanitizing agents for cleaning purposes.
• Regularly check and empty trash receptacles when full.
• Organize dishwashing areas with cleaning solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silverware.
• Maintain an efficient pace for washing all kitchenware such as pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware while handling fragile items cautiously.
• Ensure floors are clean of spills, grease, and trash at all times.
• Assist with kitchen preparation and cleaning tasks as required.
• Maintain professional and cooperative relations with line cooks, chefs, coworkers, and front-of-house staff.
• Follow all health and sanitation guidelines as mandated by Neiman Marcus, local health authorities, and third-party sanitation auditors.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation and results orientation.

• Physical capability for standing, bending, stair climbing, and lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds.
• Availability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Compensation Details

Starting pay ranges from $17.05 to $21.32 per hour depending on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
