Role Overview

The Restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the restaurant's dish, trash, and floor areas. This role ensures that sanitation and health standards meet the exacting benchmarks established by Neiman Marcus, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, trash zones, and floors to comply with health and kitchen standards.
• Regularly check and refill chemicals for the dishwashing machine ensuring proper operation.
• Operate the dish machine properly and report malfunctions promptly to management.
• Manage chemical testers and use all required sanitizing products correctly.
• Monitor and empty trash as needed.
• Organize washing areas with appropriate solutions for various utensils, including pots, pans, sinks, silverware.
• Maintain an efficient pace for washing all dishes, flatware, glassware, pots, and pans, handling fragile items with care.
• Ensure floors remain free from spills, grease, and debris throughout the shift.
• Support kitchen prep and assist with additional cleaning tasks as required.
• Cultivate professional working relationships with line cooks, chefs, front-of-house staff, and coworkers.
• Comply fully with health and sanitation regulations set by Neiman Marcus, local authorities, and external auditors.

Compensation

The salary ranges from $19.61 to $24.51 per hour depending on location, experience, and other qualifications. Variations reflect different market costs.
