About the Role
As the Resource Management Team Lead, you will oversee workforce and resource planning for Asia-Pacific Field Service operations. Your leadership will focus on maximizing employee utilization, optimizing allocation of resources, and enhancing forecasting accuracy. You'll be instrumental in minimizing reliance on external contractors and supporting robust workforce planning throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Create workforce strategies that align with outage demand projections; maintain regional capacity and availability models.
- Manage deployment and allocation of Field Service personnel across Asia-Pacific, ensuring efficient utilization and promoting cross-border resource sharing while reducing dependency on outside resources.
- Maintain up-to-date information on staff certifications, skills, and critical competencies; collaborate with functional leaders to identify and close skill gaps.
- Support recruitment, succession planning, and long-term employee development initiatives.
- Track resource utilization rates and productivity metrics; develop dashboards and provide analytical insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Drive adoption of digital workforce planning tools, focusing on automation and AI-based forecasting methods.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- More than five years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, operations, or leadership in field service environments.
- Sound knowledge of workforce analytics and forecasting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with scheduling, capacity planning, and managing utilization.
- Familiarity with software platforms such as Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, or other planning systems is advantageous.
- Proven leadership within a matrix organizational structure.
- A passion for fostering transparency, fairness, and data-driven culture in planning.
