Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Resource Management Coordinator to act as the pivotal link between project demands and talent availability. In this capacity, you will strategically manage consultant placements, optimize utilization rates, oversee bench management, and work closely with internal teams to predict and prepare for future staffing requirements. This role necessitates a thorough understanding of various IT staffing approaches, including contract, placement, and permanent recruitment, alongside strong cross-cultural communication skills for working with diverse technical groups.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Allocate technical consultants to client projects by aligning their skills, current availability, and budget considerations.
  • Manage bench time effectively by forecasting project completions and proactively positioning consultants for upcoming assignments.
  • Conduct workforce planning through analysis of project pipelines and past data to identify upcoming staffing needs and potential skill shortages.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and procurement units to implement contract hiring, staff augmentation, and permanent hiring tactics.
  • Track and report weekly utilization metrics, striving to maintain high levels of billable hours within the engineering team.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for Practice Leads, Project Managers, and Account Directors to mediate and resolve resource allocation conflicts.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in the IT consulting or professional services sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of multiple hiring processes including permanent placement, contract staffing, and staff augmentation.
  • Proven expertise in managing a talent bench, utilization tracking, and executing intricate resource distribution plans.
  • Ability to perform workforce planning using data analysis, capacity forecasting, and spreadsheet management tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with demonstrated capability to interact successfully with multicultural and international technical teams.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities, adaptable to managing varied project priorities effectively.
