Role Overview
The Resort Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily resort functions to guarantee seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role, based onsite in Abhā, involves managing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities including staff supervision, housekeeping coordination, maintenance oversight, and guest service management. Key responsibilities include monitoring occupancy levels, addressing guest complaints and escalations, upholding cleanliness, safety, and service standards, and managing budgeting with cost control measures. Additionally, the manager plays a pivotal role in hiring, training, implementing property management processes, collaborating with leadership for process enhancement, developing local partnerships, and supporting marketing and sales efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in customer service and satisfaction, focusing on efficient issue resolution and maintaining positive guest relations.
- Knowledge and experience in property management, ensuring facility maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
- Competency in budgeting, controlling expenses, and preparing basic financial reports to optimize resort operations.
- Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and supervising staff, fostering a motivated and effective team environment.
- Strong organizational aptitude with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse guests and team members.
- Background in hospitality, resort management, or hotel operations considered an advantage.
- Preferred educational qualifications include a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
